Iceotope delivers precision liquid cooling at the edge

Maximum performance, minimal footprint
AI and real-time analytics are transforming industries and pushing compute closer to where data is generated. But factories, hospitals, retail locations, and remote sites were never designed for data center-class infrastructure. Traditional data center server racks are too loud, too hot, and demand cooling resources these environments simply don't have. Iceotope precision liquid cooling technology changes those dynamics, enabling high-density performance and efficient thermal management for edge computing.
What is precision liquid cooling?
Iceotope's precision liquid cooling is a patented “direct to everything” approach that replaces traditional air cooling with highly efficient liquid-based thermal management for all infrastructure components. Environmentally-safe dielectric fluid is integrated in a fully-sealed chassis that can be deployed in nearly any environment with near-silent operation and minimal water use.
What is an edge thermal routing cabinet?
Iceotope's liquid-cooled, self-contained thermal routing cabinet solutions integrate compute, cooling, networking, memory, and storage into a 24U rack chassis that supports up to 4 Dell XE7740 servers or 6 HPE DL380 Gen 11 servers. This configuration uses liquid cooling to capture almost all of the heat generated by the system, which is then released outside through a liquid-to-air cooler.
Precision liquid cooling benefits
For telcos managing high-throughput, low-latency operations, laboratories handling sensitive and compute-heavy workloads, or manufacturing facilities requiring on-premise compute in extreme environments, Iceotope delivers:
- AI-optimized performance: support for high-density GPU/CPUs that are liquid-cooled for consistent throughput and enterprise-class reliability.
- Energy efficiency: Iceotope technology reduces cooling costs by up to 83% and water use by up to 96% vs. air-cooled servers.[1]
- Near silent operation: Fan-less liquid cooling that significantly reduces noise output to less than 40 dB (about the same as a quiet library).
- Scalable architecture: Modular racks and cooling infrastructure built to grow with AI workloads.
- Operational simplicity: the cabinet operates on a standard 240v outlet in the US or 415v in the UK, Australia or New Zealand and requires no external water source.
A turnkey solution
Iceotope has teamed up with UNICOM Engineering, a subsidiary of UNICOM Global, to deliver a complete, turnkey solution that includes shipping logistics, on-site installation, and comprehensive training for a seamless handover to your operations team. Beyond deployment, customers benefit from a three-year comprehensive parts and service plan with dedicated support and warranty coverage and a single point of accountability throughout the entire lifecycle.
The future of edge computing
Liquid cooled edge platforms support edge computing in sectors such as retail, healthcare, telecom, and manufacturing by enabling AI-driven insights, secure diagnostics, and reliable performance in almost any environment, without infrastructure upgrades.
The future of AI and HPC at the edge is more powerful, more compact, and more energy-efficient, thanks to Iceotope.
