Iceotope names Simon Jesenko as Chief Executive Officer

Iceotope, a leading provider of precision liquid cooling technology, today announced the appointment of Simon Jesenko as Chief Executive Officer. Jesenko, who has served as the company's Chief Financial Officer since 2023 and stepped into the role of acting CEO in March, will continue to hold the CFO position alongside his new appointment.

The decision follows an extensive global search conducted by Iceotope's Board of Directors. The Board evaluated a wide field of external candidates and interviewed a carefully selected group of finalists. Throughout the process, the Board weighed personal character and human ethics, reputation, domain knowledge, executive experience, and the will to make Iceotope win.

Jesenko is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience and a proven track record of driving growth and scaling fast-growing SMEs and public companies. His expertise spans corporate strategy, restructuring, international expansion, and mergers and acquisitions. At Iceotope, he leverages his financial acumen and strategic vision to drive growth, allocate capital efficiently, optimize business processes and structure, and position the company as a leader in precision liquid cooling technology for sustainable and advanced computing solutions.

His appointment comes as Iceotope builds on recent momentum from the close of a $26M Series B funding round to address the thermal bottleneck at the heart of next-generation AI infrastructure.
