Iceotope, the leading provider of Precision Liquid Cooling technology, today announced the appointment of Simon Jesenko as interim CEO and Neil Edmunds as Chief Innovation Officer. The organizational realignment positions Iceotope to meet the growing need for sustainable, power efficient liquid cooling solutions to support the AI industry.

Jesenko replaces Jonathan Ballon, who helped guide Iceotope as it redefined its product focus and partnership strategy, building the foundation for the company’s next phase of growth. Ballon will remain an advisor to the Board of Directors. Jesenko has served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer for the past three years and has extensive executive leadership, finance and operations management experience for fast growing start-ups and scale-ups.

In addition, the company announced the promotion of Neil Edmunds, who previously served as Iceotope’s Vice President of Product Management, to Chief Innovation Officer. In this expanded role, he will lead product strategy and execution, accelerating innovation and deepening alignment with customer and market needs. A core member of the Iceotope team for the past 10 years, Edmunds is regarded as one of the industry’s foremost experts in liquid cooling solutions for data centers and is the co-author of several of Iceotope’s core technology patents.

“The explosive growth of AI has created a rapidly expanding market opportunity for Iceotope’s precision liquid cooling technology, which is essential for the performance and reliability of advanced AI hardware,” said Alain Andreoli, Iceotope’s Chairman. “We want to thank Jonathan Ballon for his contributions in leading the company at a critical time in its development. His energy, passion and engagement have been an enormous asset to the organization. With Simon providing leadership continuity and Neil guiding our product innovation efforts, we are confident in our ability to execute on our vision and deliver long-term value for our customers, partners and investors.”

Iceotope has pioneered many of the key liquid cooling technologies that enable modern AI hardware – including GPUs, CPUs, power supplies, storage and networking – to operate at peak thermal efficiency. In addition to possessing the liquid cooling industry’s largest patent portfolio, the company is supported by a deep and experienced leadership team and a strong bench of talent across engineering, product and operations.
