Iceotope secures £30m funding round led by ABC Impact

Iceotope Technologies, a global leader in precision immersion cooling, has closed a £30 million funding round led by Singapore-based impact investor ABC Impact, signaling growing confidence in liquid cooling as a key enabler of sustainable digital infrastructure.  Iceotope’s chassis-level precision immersion technology is engineered to cool the entire IT stack, delivering up to 96% water savings, up to 40% power reduction, and up to 40% lower carbon emissions per kW of IT equipment compared to traditional cooling.

The syndicate includes strategic investors nVent, SDCL Energy Efficiency Income Trust (SEEIT), Northern Gritstone, British Patient Capital, Pavilion Capital, and existing investor Edinv.  As part of a strategic alliance, nVent will integrate Iceotope’s technology into modular data center, edge, and high-performance computing solutions, helping scale deployment globally.

ABC Impact’s backing reflects a broader push to address the climate and water footprint of data centers, particularly in high-growth, high‑heat regions such as Asia, where IoT, 5G, and cloud adoption are driving rapid capacity expansion.  The firm highlights Iceotope’s ability to reduce both environmental and real-estate impact as a key reason for the investment and sees strong potential for adoption in tropical markets.

With liquid cooling adoption set to rise and the global data center liquid cooling market projected to grow sharply in the coming years, this funding positions Iceotope to accelerate innovation and global rollout of its precision immersion solutions, supporting the sector’s transition to net-zero.
